ROLE
Creative Designer
The visual identity of the conference was deliberately crafted to pay homage to Kuala Lumpur, integrating elements that reflect the city’s essence while reinforcing AVPN’s mission of driving social impact through collaboration and investment.
Throughout my tenure at AVPN, I was involved in shaping the design language of multiple high-profile summits and initiatives, including:
- 2nd Asia-Pacific Tuberculosis Forum 2022 – Signature event branding, presentation decks, and social media creatives.
- AVPN South Asia Social Investment Summit 2023 (Jio World Convention Center, Mumbai, India) – Identity and collateral design.
- Asia Gender Network – Identity design and brand guidelines update.
- ayPact Program – Collateral design and brand guidelines development.
- AVPN Global Conference 2023 (Kuala Lumpur) – Event identity development.
- AVPN Cambodia Summit 2023 (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) – Identity and collateral design.
This role required a balance of strategic thinking and creative execution, ensuring that each event’s identity aligned with AVPN’s core values while maintaining visual distinctiveness.

Solution
One of the biggest challenges was developing a Conference Identity Design that felt fresh, modern, and aligned with AVPN’s existing brand system. The primary goal was to find a creative solution that reduced the visual clutter from previous brand collaterals while maintaining the existing color palette and typography system for consistency.
To achieve this, I took a semi-minimal approach, strategically streamlining the design by eliminating excessive elements while ensuring that the identity remained visually flexible and adaptable. This approach allowed the event’s branding to maintain a sense of cohesion while also providing the necessary room to expand and evolve across various platforms and formats.
The design process began with the creation of event posters and banners, which served as the foundation for developing a cohesive visual system. These initial designs helped establish a series of visuals, patterns, and assets that were later adapted across multiple touchpoints.

Asset Design
The design assets were categorized into three key sections, each requiring a distinct approach to maintain clarity and engagement:
Internal Communication Assets
Presentation templates (PPTs), Brochures, Social media creatives, Newsletter templates, Email Signature, Google form Banner, Webpage graphics
External Engagement Collaterals
Session slides, Virtual Zoom/Meet screen, Keynote speaker intro slides, Vision Membership collaterals, Social media creatives, Event thumbnails, Digital & print invites
On-Ground Event Branding
Banners, Signage, Posters, Digital display assets, ID cards
Through this structured approach, the Conference Identity Design successfully balanced visual consistency and adaptability, allowing for a seamless experience across digital, print, and physical event spaces while reinforcing AVPN’s brand presence and impact.
