Background/Insight
In a saturated market of artisanal preserves, most jam brands either lean too rustic or too sterile—leaving a gap for a brand that could feel both crafted and current. Bramble & Co. emerged from this tension: a jam company rooted in traditional small-batch values but with the flavor and personality of modern New York.
The brand wanted to disrupt the quiet-shelf aesthetic of typical preserves with a bold attitude, without losing the essence of craftsmanship. The challenge was to create an identity that felt handcrafted, but not homespun; playful, but not gimmicky.
The audience? Urban dwellers with a taste for quality—design-conscious, culturally fluent, and always reaching for something that sparks joy (even at breakfast).
Band Name & Language
“Bramble & Co.” nods to foraged fruit and wild sweetness but adds polish with “& Co.,” giving it the feel of an established, storied house. This friction between wild and refined is the soul of the brand. We dialed into a tone of voice that’s witty, crisp, and unbothered—just like a sharp New Yorker casually roasting you on the subway (but with a spoonful of jam).
Taglines like:

- "Jams for the jammy-hearted"
- "Spread the gossip, not just the jam"
…pair cheeky charm with craftsmanship, staying miles away from the usual "farm-to-table" clichés.

Band Mascot: The Jam Bear
One of the brand’s most distinctive communication tools is its custom mascot: a snack-happy bear mid-bite. The bear is more than cute, it's character. Designed as a brand communication element, it brings approachability, consistency, and instant recognizability across touchpoints.
The bear makes its way onto packaging, merch, social media, and storytelling moments. It’s simple, bold, and a little odd—in all the right ways. Just like the brand.
